Northside Baptist Church is a place where you can encounter Jesus, build meaningful relationships, and find a community where everyone belongs. We believe in creating an authentic, welcoming environment where people can grow in their faith, discover their God-given gifts, and use them to make a difference for His glory.

What To Expect
WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?
Our Sunday morning services are welcoming, Christ-centered, and focused on God’s Word. You’ll experience a mix of contemporary worship music and traditional hymns, and a expository message from the Word of God. We also set aside time for prayer and reflection, giving everyone an opportunity to respond to the message and bring their prayer needs before the Lord. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or have been attending for years, you can expect a warm and encouraging atmosphere where you can worship, connect, and grow in your faith.
WHAT TIME DOES CHURCH START? HOW LONG DOES THE SERVICE LAST?
The small group hour begins at 9:30am. We have a variety of classes for adults, children, and teenagers. Worship begins at 10:45 am. Most worship services at Northside last around an hour to one hour and ten minutes. Services usually conclude around 11:45am-12:00pm.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS?
Come dressed in whatever makes you feel comfortable! Whether that’s jeans and a T-shirt, business casual, or your Sunday best, you’ll fit right in. There’s no dress code at Northside—just come as you are and feel at home.
WHERE DO I PARK AND WHERE TO GO WHEN I ARRIVE?
We have 1 parking lot that you will be able to park in, and you can come in the main worship area doors or the second set of doors and you will be greeted.
IS THERE A PLACE FOR KIDS?
Yes, we have a children’s ministry. During the service we have children’s church for ages 4-9. We also offer nursery for babies. Children are also welcome to sit with you in the service.
WHAT AGES OF PEOPLE COME TO NORTHSIDE?
All ages! From families with young kids to our youth group to adults and seniors, all ages have a place at Northside. You will also see people of all ages volunteering around our church. If you have a heart for the Lord, we have a place for you at Northside.
WILL I BE EXPECTED TO GIVE MONEY?
Giving is encouraged by members of Northside, but visitors are under no obligation to give. If you wish to give, there is opportunity to give during the worship service or you can give online.
WILL I BE ASKED TO SAY ANYTHING PUBLICLY?
No— we don’t require anyone to share publicly. Your level of engagement is entirely up to you. We do not ask visitors to raise their hand or single themselves out. We encourage you to fill out a connection card either from the back of the chairs in the worship center, or online.
WHAT BIBLE TRANSLATION IS USED? ARE CERTAIN TRANSLATIONS RESTRICTED?
All translations are welcome at Northside. Our lead pastor reads from the ESV on Sunday mornings. Most of the Pastor's readings are featured on the media screens in the worship center so that the text of the translation he is reading from is visible for all.
